The surprise was to found that, even if each track from synfire was assigned to separate drones, both of them were playing using either the bass or the strings loaded in logic, so both tracks were playing with the strings preset, or both tracks were playing with the bass preset, but not separate. The midis are quantised, also.Īlso, I tried to work with drones, and what I did was this: create a software instrument and loaded a drone in logic and loaded some nexus 2 strings in this drone, then assigned in the first track of synfire to this drone, than created another software instrument in logic, loaded another drone with some nexus 2 bass, then assigned the second track from synfire to this newly made drone. I tried to link some rhythm and vocal takes that I have made in Logic pro x with the harmonic and melodic part made in Synfire, but there is a noticeable latency even with 32 buffer and ' Rewire behaviour: Live mode' set in Logic and everything is out of the rhythm when Synfire and Logic are set to work in rewire.
